Brighton have had difficulty advancing past the quarter-finals in the EFL Cup, having failed to do so since the 1978-79 season and being eliminated at the last-16 stage four times in the last five seasons.
Hurzeler discussed how he plans to balance his squad for the cup match.
"We have to believe in our young players and trust them because they are here for a reason. It's not about age, but about quality, and finding a good balance in the team is essential."
Hurzeler also praised Arsenal's performance, highlighting their ability to defend well and be effective with set pieces.
"They are doing well, particularly in their ability to defend and utilize set pieces. It will be a big challenge for us tomorrow."
Regarding Arsenal's set pieces, specifically their ability to score from corners, Hurzeler acknowledged that it's not just one player, but a team effort.
"You can't defend against one player alone. They have a well-coordinated team that excels at set pieces. We're confident in our ability to defend against them, but it's an area we're working on."
