Nuno began by discussing the team's performance against Newcastle and how they mentally responded to being down 1-0 at halftime.
"Football is a game where you can be punished if you're not careful," Nuno said. "But you have to react to adversity. You can't just give up when things aren't going your way."
Nuno was pleased with the team's reaction to being down, calling it a positive sign.
"We competed really well, but the process of improvement is never over," Nuno said. "There's no fixed starting eleven - we have a squad that we can draw upon for solutions and options." He added that as long as the players are healthy and committed, the team has the potential to succeed.
The conversation then shifted to Niclas Fullkrug and Dinos Mavropanos, who are both working their way back to full fitness.
"Both of them are improving," Nuno said. "Dinos is still doing individual work, while Niclas is progressing with the team, albeit not at full capacity."
Nuno expressed optimism that both players would be back to full strength after the upcoming international break.
When asked about any other injury concerns, Nuno acknowledged that there were always some issues to deal with after a match, but was hopeful that the team would be okay for the next match.
Nuno also addressed the rumors surrounding Niclas Fullkrug's future, which suggest that he may be looking to leave the team in the January transfer window.
"I understand that everybody does their job in this industry," Nuno said. "My job is to coach. Niclas played the first two games and unfortunately got injured, now he's coming back. If we can get him healthy and ready to go, he's another option for the team."
Nuno emphasized that his focus is on coaching and getting the best out of his players, rather than worrying about transfer rumors or speculation.
