Khaldoon also highlighted De Bruyne's personal achievements, including being named PFA Player of the Year twice and serving as captain. He noted that De Bruyne's influence extends beyond the team, inspiring fans and players alike, both within the club and in the wider football community.

Khaldoon remembered bringing De Bruyne to Manchester City from Wolfsburg, recalling that some people thought the club overpaid for him. However, he believes it was one of the best decisions the club ever made.
