Chris Atherton, a 17-year-old winger, has officially signed a professional contract with Chelsea. Atherton initially joined the club from Glenavon in Northern Ireland on a scholarship in the summer. Since then, he has become a regular player for Chelsea's under-18 team. The Northern Ireland under-17 international has already scored two goals for his new club. This successful start has led to Atherton signing his first professional co
