The Swedish Football Association has announced that Bergvall will not be available to play in their next two matches due to the concussion he suffered in a recent league match against Chelsea.

Speaking about the decision, Swedish FA executive Stefan Pettersson stated that they had agreed with Tottenham's doctor to conduct tests and then assess Bergvall's fitness level.

When Bergvall showed a reaction to the tests, the Swedish team did not hesitate to take a cautious approach and avoid taking any risks with his health.

The Swedish national team is set to face Switzerland in a World Cup qualifier on Saturday, and manager Graham Potter will manage his first game in charge without Bergvall, who had featured in their previous losses to Switzerland and Kosovo.
