According to recent developments, Roma's chief Ricky Massara has informed Palmeiras that they are ready to meet the club's demand for €30m. Roma has already made an initial offer of €28m plus €2m in bonuses, which was slightly lower than Palmeiras' initial request of €25m plus €5m.
Rios has already accepted the move to Roma, and has received a five-year contract worth €2m per season. However, Manchester United is making a late attempt to persuade Rios to join them instead.
United's offer is reportedly £30m, a significant amount that could potentially change Rios' mind. Nevertheless, for now, Rios seems to be leaning towards joining Roma.
