Villa, fresh off their Champions League run, are reportedly in the thick of negotiations with RBK to bring the young midfielder to the Premier League.

When asked about the potential transfer, Nypan was as coy as a cat in a room full of mice. “I can’t say anything about it,” he told Nidaros.

It's been hinted that the Nypan family has already had a chat with Villa's manager Unai Emery and sporting director Monchi.

But the youngster wasn't about to spill the beans. “Well, it’s a bit difficult to answer,” he said. “I know more than I did then (at the start of the season). But there’s not much to say yet.”
