Senne Lammens, a Belgian goalkeeper, has joined the team from Royal Antwerp to compete with Heaton and Altay Bayindir for the senior goalkeeper position.

In a recent interview, Heaton expressed his thoughts on Lammens, saying that he has been impressed by the young goalkeeper's skills and personality.

"It's only been a few days of training, but I think he's a really good guy," Heaton said.

Lammens' calm and confident demeanor has caught Heaton's attention, as well as his strong goalkeeping fundamentals.

"He's calm but has a strong personality," Heaton noted.

"His goalkeeping fundamentals are very impressive," Heaton added, praising Lammens' skills despite being just 23 years old and new to the team.
