Ekitike arrived in Hong Kong on Friday to meet his new teammates and manager Arne Slot for the first time.
He expressed his enthusiasm, saying: "I feel very proud to be part of such a big and historic club. I'm just excited and feel like a kid. I've always dreamed of playing in the Premier League, and to play for Liverpool is a great feeling for me."
Ekitike believes that now is the right time for him to take on this new challenge. He said: "I came to the Bundesliga hungry to prove myself and show that I can make a difference on the pitch. I think I did well last season, and now I feel ready to take the next step and improve myself to the highest level."
On his quick arrival in Hong Kong, Ekitike shared: "Things happened fast, but I enjoyed every moment of it. I live day by day and try to make the most of each experience."
Ekitike also expressed his gratitude to his former club, SG Eintracht Frankfurt, and their fans. He said: "I'm really grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to express myself and grow as a player and a person."
